This property offers inconsistent reviews, fluctuating between a pleasant budget stay and a condemned environment. Recent feedback highlights severe cleanliness issues, such as roaches and odors, alongside successful relocations by Management.
We arrived at 220 pm. Checked in. I got double charged. We didn't go to our room as we had a cargo trailer to unpack first. We reserved a king room. Got told im getting a 2 queen room "at no extra charge " I'm Diamond level. I dont get charged for upgrades. Which this room wasnt an upgrade. Arrived back to the hotel 3 hours later. Still not been inside the room yet. Went to the front desk first to ask about why I'm not Checked in through the Wyndham app yet. The owners were folding their personal laundry - easily 4 loads - including under garments in the lobby. While waiting, another guest was asking about the wifi. The owner said "we're having issues. It doesn't work." So I guess the sign out front that says high speed internet is a lie. Had a conversation with LJ to which she said it shows that I still owe them money. This after being charged twice already. She suggested I call customer care. I went to our truck, we pulled around to our room and it was a nope before we even went in. Debris and junk metal on the cat walk on the 2nd floor. Just piled up. An abandoned, broke down car with temp tags and 4 flat tires in front of our room. Now the room. Lord no. Ive stay in some dumps in my 52 years on earth. However this one takes the prize for quickest exit. Holes in the wall. Bathroom door looks like someone kicked it in..cigarette burns on the tub. Your shoes stick to the ground as you walk across it. There is a musty pungent odor - like dirty wet gym socks. To ice the proverbial cake - we say easily a dozen roaches. We exited and went to the front desk to turn in our keys. We checked in 3 hours and were in the room less than 5 minutes only to check out. Customer Care helped book us a room across the street at La Quinta. So another $178 spent on top of the initial $64.40 charged and the other $84.20 charged at check in at this HoJo that is a no and should be condemned. Ive reached out to Wyndham customer care. As well will be reaching out to Georgia regulatory agencies on Monday. Moral hete: sleep in your car before you sleep here.
Older location and well maintained. Rooms are neat and very clean. Quiet and perfect location for shopping and very close proximity to the interstate. However, the best thing is they are priced very reasonable. They offer complimentary breakfast but I usually sleep through the timeframe. This our go-to while traveling.
I will start by saying I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, but this one has by far been the worst! The A/C was on upon checking in but only half of it was working and not to mention the humming noise was so loud and every 5 minutes or so the blower motor/fan would be so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. There was duct tape on the floors to cover up the holes in the carpet. The sheets were stained, but clean. We found a broken meth pipe stuck inside the bathroom light, so naturally we asked for another room. The lady from the front desk came to the room and got our current key and was extremely rude and when we would try and talk to her and explain everything she would just yell ok, ok you have a new room gave us the key. Upon entering the second room it was at least 85-90 degrees. We turn the A/C on and it took from 10pm-4am for the room to cool off enough to actually need to use a sheet, because there was no blanket. The right side of the bed was broken. This morning we contact Wyndham, due to being members, and to tell them about our stay and they informed us that it will take at least 2-3 weeks for us to get a response about our stay.
In a witld where you have to fear what you might get out if a one night stop over, this place was fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff with no need for online booking because the price was the same as the lowest online offer. Rooms are clean and well kept! Parking lot was very well lit offering safety and security. Will stay there again on our return trip home from Florida!! Thank you!!
This hotel was disgusting. Roaches in the rooms stained bedsheets. Bed was hard as a rock. Lobby is not open in time to eat breakfast. They didn’t knock or anything walked right into our room and took our curtain's. About 2 hours later while we were still in here my daughter in the bathroom they walked in here and started vacuuming then proceeded to almost open the door on my daughter in the bathroom without knocking. Huge invasion of privacy. They took money out of our account 3 weeks before we arrived. The first room we got the beds felt like just box springs with out a mattress. This room also didn’t have a top lock which with 3 Daughters in an area I don’t know I was NOT okay with at all they did give us a new room and were nice about it. We got this hotel because of the pool so my girls could swim and the pool was down and they didn’t tell us before we got here. There was mold on the head board and the lamp was broken. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. “Award winning hotel” not sure how they got that name at ALL
