Scottish Inns & Suites offers affordable rates and generally clean rooms, though recent reviews highlight significant issues with cleanliness, odor, and structural problems. The staff is typically helpful, particularly in accommodating special needs, but overall, the property appears to be struggling to maintain quality standards. Recent reviews suggest a decline in condition.
Scottish Inns and Suites in Perry, GA is the less expensive hotel in this area. It provides clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Clean towels, bed clothes and no bed bugs. The bedroom has a workable and clean microwave , and refrigerator. A workable TV and AC. The bathroom has hot water. The furniture and the bathroom are dated . They will provide coffee and a coffee maker in the bedroom and some danish. The breakfast is not that great but it gives you a start for the morning. The manager and his family are kind people and will negotiate with you the rate if you are a traveling therapist working in this area.
I don't use hotel amenities very often. Most of the time, I'm just looking for a clean room.\n To shower and sleep well, this place does it all.\n Very well. Respectful prices.
Just a typical quick stay, but couldn't get the smell of Indian food off me for a couple days.
This is not even a last resort. Sleep in your vehicle. The room we got smelled so strong with chemicals that it burned our eyes and throats, it seemed an attempt to hide a smell underneath that could only be explained as "death" and stomach acid or vomit. We requested a move. The second room had blankets with several cigarette burns. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and almost fell off. The floors stuck to our shoes. We slept fully clothed and with shoes and socks. We left feeling somehow "infected" by the disgust. Iv stayed in sketch places before, however, this is more of a fear factor challenge than a place to pay for a night of sleep. Save yourself and stay anywhere else.
We had to evacuate from Hurricane Milton, and we found the Scottish Inn had a room. The staff is wonderful. They saw my boyfriend is not only old but also had bad foot injury. They were kind enough to give us a downstairs room. Thank them and God!. The room is clean, although smells like bathed in baby powder. The bedding could be fixed or replaced, the bedspreads both have holes. The beds are firm but lumpy. Sheets are clean. Has Micro and small fridge. Nice clean bathroom. You can tell they are trying very hard to spruce it up. I wouldn't mind staying here again. Not a super sized room but we didn't ask for one. It's not bad at all. Priced pretty good also.
This was a last minute online reservation with no refund. But if I had the choice again I probably would’ve slept in my truck. The shower had no hot water, the sink only had hot water and I could see outside the door with it shut because there was that large a gap in door sill. I can’t say if bed slept decent in room 102 because I was so exhausted I simply passed out but knowing what I know now, I’ll never stay here again!!!!!!! The floor in the room was all ripped up from apparently being water damaged. The whole place was a disaster and disgraceful to the hotel chain name brand!
The owner-operator of this hotel is doing an incredible job. The check-in process was a breeze, the door cards are very easy to use, and the price was very affordable. That all is enough to get 3 of these 5 stars in my book. Usually, one sacrifices quality for cost. Not so here. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the mounted TV was a great bonus. I spent New Years' morning watching astronauts on the International Space Station wish me a nice 2023. The owners also let me park my motorcycle under the central awning to keep it out of the rain. The joy of kind, competent hospitality with sturdy amenities certainly brought this review to a full 5 stars.
